Training

Mr. Joseph completed Specialist Registrar Training in the West Midlands Deanery. This included 7 years of training in Vascular and General surgery. Vascular surgery was moving towards forming a separate specialty at the time and he sought experience in endovascular interventions, in line with the changes occurring in the specialty.

He also rotated through training posts in Oxford Deanery on moving to the UK from India.
He was appointed as consultant surgeon in 2008 and continued to develop his skills in both open and endovascular surgery to provide better service for the patients with vascular disease.

Experience and Research

Mr. Joseph has extensive experience in open and endovascular procedures in peripheral vascular disease and varicose veins, which is his primary area of interest. He is also well experienced in managing aortic conditions.
He has been involved as Principal investigator in a number of national research studies.
