Mr. Thomas Joseph

Mr. Thomas Joseph is a consultant Vascular/Endovascular surgeon. He providesPrivate practice through Circle Health (The Beardwood Hospital) and Buckshaw hospitals where he has NHS practice as well.


Mr. Joseph is based at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals for NHS work. His additional roles include being a Trainer, Appraiser and Zonal Lead.

Mr. Joseph was a substantive consultant in Cumberland Infirmary before and received Completion Certificate of Training in 2007 on completion of structured training in Vascular and General surgery in the West Midlands. He moved to the UK in 1997 after receiving Medical Degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and MS General surgery from Bangalore University
Mr. Joseph adapted to the changes in his specialty as Vascular surgery acquired a specialty status and continued his arterial endovascular work in Cumberland Infirmary until May 2023.

Mr. Joseph believes maintaining good mobility as the key to ageing with vitality and is passionate in assisting his patients to do so.

Mr. Joseph offers assessment and minimally invasive treatments for Varicose veins in the Private sector.

Mr. Joseph is well experienced in all peripheral vascular procedures and has special interest in Lower Limb vascular conditions that include both diseases of the veins and arteries. This includes both complex revascularisations and endovascular procedures.

Mr. Joseph also offers surgery for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, including re-operations, mesenteric revascularisations and Carotid endarterectomy for prevention of Stroke.
